Thank you for this video! The manual that comes with the device was pretty much useless, but thanks to you video I managed to get it to to work. My car was not reacting at all when I plugged it in. I have an Android phone and therefore I have CarPlay deactivated. After seeing you connect it to you car via CarPlay I activated that and voila, it connected and so far everything seems to be working just fine.

You seem to have 3 marks on the top left of the console? Looks like a small crack. Would not do for me as the unit seems to be so high and would be a hazard when turning left.

Great video - as usual. Have you considered spraying the window frames black or adding black vinyl to them?

Great timing as this type of wireless adapter is what I am looking for. Had wired android auto two weeks and frustrating connecting to phone for short runs! One question is can you switch between two android fones easily? Cheers 👍

Hi, I have a small problem with the screen resolution when I connect the Tbox to TV using HDMI. It takes the default resolution 1920x720 because of which the display gets clamped on top & bottom of my TV & I cannot utilize the full UHD screen. All videos get resized to smaller size on TV. Is there a way to change the display resolution when connected to TV? Please help. Thanks

I do like it, only thing that looks a bit out of place are the rear windows. I’d have either shaped the ply to match the window frame shape or had windows with rounded edges. I’d also say, paint the frames black - that’ll blend them in and they may look better. Good work on this tho, good watch that was.

Abutting your bed to uninsulated metal on the rear pillars is likely to lead to condensation getting into your bedding materials. All-year and permanent CV-livers keep an air gap and obviously insulate all metal pillars to avoid this. If not with year-long habitation, especially with a high-sided wooden bed, leads to mould build up in the matress especially on the underside. Mould is never good. If your usage is week-ends stylie then dare say you can live with this. Presumably you aren't intending to spend the winter in the Artic! Enjoy the build format/YT coverage. Looks to be on track to be the van of your dreams!
